Our actions

• The association aims to:

- To fight against the proliferation of stray cats by having them sterilized before releasing them where they live if they are so-called "wild" cats.

- Identify by microchip and ear tag.

- Treat and feed the cats identified by the association, as well as those not yet identified and called "strays".

- As soon as the animal is identified by the association and listed on our veterinary records, it is no longer considered stray (article 213.1 of the rural code) but free.

- Contribute to finding new masters for kittens born in the street and sociable cats, entrusting them when necessary to a volunteer foster family whose task is to bring the animal to socialize it for the purposes of future adoption, or in our local.

_ The actions carried out (trapping, sterilization, identification, monitoring, etc.) will only be carried out in the municipality of Cognac and its surroundings, with the agreement of the municipalities and/or individuals concerned.
